Sonoma Sierra Photography was started by two photographers, Ian Myers and Andrea Aanestad. We are not your traditional wedding photographers. We believe in a candid, creative, and editorial style of photography called photojournalism. While we also provide artistically posed photographs, our goal is to capture much of the wedding, naturally, as it unfolds. The results are spontaneous, natural looking photographs that capture the real emotion and feeling of the day, without hours spent posed in front of the camera. |

Philosophy |
We understand that each couple has a unique expectation of their wedding photographer. We strive to build a relationship with our clients that enables us to provide them with the shots they want. By establishing this understanding, our photographers can work to capture the details most important to our clients. We want the bride, groom, their families and friends to enjoy this once in a lifetime experience. You can relax in knowing that we will find the shots you want while still capturing the emotion and detail that makes your day unique. |
What separates us from the others? |
*In addition to our style of photography, our goal is to provide beautiful, quality photographs at a reasonable price. We do not believe that, just because this is a wedding related service that the cost needs to be inflated. Many photographers make their profit by owning the copyrights to your photos and selling proofs and enlargements to the couple and their family. Notice that in all of our packages, we give you all of your prints on CD. This allows you to order more copies, share them with your family, put them on line, or enlarge or edit images any way you choose. Therefore, after the original expense, there is no additional cost! |
*With Sonoma Sierra Photography you have two full time photographers for your wedding day. This allows us to capture shots and details that would normally be lost because the focus of the single photographer would be elsewhere. Two photographers means two unique perspectives and twice as many photographs. |
*We never double book wedding dates. Our photographers are committed to our clients for their wedding day. We don't want our clients to worry about losing their photographer should the wedding start or run late. |
